We place great emphasis on the health and safety of the public and every individual who works with or for Owens.

Enormous care is taken to ensure that our employees adhere to all health and safety policies operated by ourselves, our customers and their supply-chain partners.

Much effort is made to train staff and to keep them abreast of latest health and safety requirements. This goes for all areas of their work - everywhere from steelworks to retail dispatch bays across the UK and Europe.

We work closely with customers and with colleagues in our own sectors to review and develop new best practice procedures. Our tried and tested policy is to be open and honest with all health and safety matters. We share all our accident statistics with our customers.

We employ highly qualified health and safety staff, invest considerable resources in relevant staff training - from risk assessment to general health and safety matters - and offer first aid training for all staff. We offer consultancy services in dangerous goods safety.
